明清之际中国传统科学发展缓慢之因探寻

Casual Analysis of the Sluggishness of Chinese Traditional Science in the Ming and Qing Dynasties

我们如果以西方近代科学为标准,通过将中国传统科学结构体系与西方近代科学结构体系对比,不难看出中国传统科学的内部结构存在许多先天缺陷。例如,科学发展的体制方面存在的问题以及科学发展缺乏可持续性的支持性要素是中国传统科学落后,中国辉煌的古代科学迟迟难以过渡到近代科学形态的原因。

If we compare the structure system of Chinese traditional science with that of the western modern science in light of western modern science, it is not difficult to find out quite a number of defects in the inner structure of the traditional Chinese science. The problems existing in the mechanism of the scientific development and the lack of supportive elements for the sustainable development is the main reason accounting for the sluggish development of Chinese traditional science, and it is also the main obstacle for the transition from the splendid ancient science to modern science.
