明清山西商业市镇研究

Study on the Commercial Towns in the Ming and Qing Dynasties

明清时期通过贩运贸易,山西商人的行商足迹遍及东北、西北、京津等地区,促进了这些地区以及本省商品经济的发展。作为省内晋商经营活动舞台和交易场所的山西市镇,也因晋商而盛衰。文章结合不同地域的晋商在这一时期发展轨迹,对山西商业市镇作了考察研究。

By the long distance trade during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, more and more people went to do business from all over the whole Shanxi province. The merchants of Shanxi did their business over the broad regions, including Beijing, Tianjin; the northeast re- gion and the northwest area of China. Apart from this, being a important platform and market, a lot of towns flourished in Shanxi. The towns went along with the rise and fall of merchants. This article discusses the rise and prosperity of Shanxi＇ s towns, its internal rela- tions with Shanxi business and merchants.
