Shortened Salt History of Hainan before the Foundation of New China

海南岛海盐生产的历史可追溯到唐代甚至更远，但所存史料不多。日本占领时期留下的史料较为翔实，也仅是技术资料见长。本文对海南岛盐业历史概貌，尤其是民国时期，进行了系统介绍。

The Salt production history of Hainan could be traced to the Tang Dynasty or even more far away,but the historical materials is not very more. And so, the paper is just a chief introduction of Hainan Salt history, especially the history of the Republic of China.
