生态文明从本质内涵看,是要实现人与自然、社会以及人自身的和谐共生。从生态文明的内在结构看,一方面是生态文明的观念形态、制度形态和实践形态三者的统一;另一方面是生态文明的主体形态、客体形态和主客体关系统一形态三者的统一。同时,在其内涵中蕴含着生态文明的理论性与实践性、结构性与和谐性、历史性与现实性相统一的过程特征。

Ecological civilization, in terms of its essential demand, is to realize the harmonious coexistence of man, nature, society and human itself. Viewed from the inner structure of ecological civilization, it is, on the one hand, a unified form of ideology, system and practice. On the other hand, it＇s a unified form of subject, object and the relationship of them. Meanwhile, its connotation contains procedure featuring a unity of scientific and practical, structural and harmonious, historieal and realistic process.
