According to the equipment operation data statistics, the belt repair items with belt damage size less than 500 mm take more than 85% of overall belt repair items. With advantages of small size, simple operation and reliable re- pair quality, the vulcanization repair device becomes a preferable and necessary tool for beh hot vulcanization repair. The paper details analysis and discussion of problems and phenomenon occurring during use of certain repair devices and intro- duces experience and methods for improvement to pressing device.
