叶县发现陈侯之孙宋儿鼎

On the Ding Tri-pot of Songer the Grandson of Chen State Marquis

叶县博物馆收藏的1件铸有铭文的铜鼎,原本应有器盖,现遗失不存。鼎腹内壁铸有竖款3行14字铭文,笔者考释认为,其内容应为,"陈侯之孙宋儿自作飤繁,永保用之";陈侯之孙宋儿鼎的铸造年代,当在公元前534～前529年之间。推测其铸造地,应在被称为方城之外的楚叶邑,即今叶县。

The bronze Ding tripod with inscription collected by Yexian museum original had a cover, but now it was lost. In the belly of this bronze Ding tripod inscription was covered, the author considered the meaning of the inscription was Songer the grandson of Chen state marquise made this bronze Ding tripod and his descendants used it forever. The time of making the bronze Ding tripod should be between B. C. 534 and B. C. 529. The place of making the bronze Ding tripod should be the Ye Yi outside of Fangcheng city, now Yexian.
