The poet＇ s constant questio- ning reveals the pursuit of his own identity under the dual impacts of the Arabic tradition and the Western tradition. His cultural hybrid- ity and his social position as a member of Diaspora Literature always make him seek his true identity and belongingness. This poem is rich in philosophical ideas that reveal the poet＇ s constant search of his spiritual home under the impacts of two different cultures.
