Main Contents of Ethnic Political Development

民族政治发展的基本内涵可以由其定义、内容和实质3个方面来构成。就其定义而言,民族政治发展是民族政治由低级到高级的正向变迁过程,主要表现为民族政治体系的发展与完善,以及民族政治生活从传统到现代的变革,其最终目的是为作为政治发展主体的民族共同体提供一种持久而深沉的政治关怀;就其内容而言,可以从"作为过程的民族政治发展"和"作为目标的民族政治发展"两个方面来加以说明;而基于"作为载体发展的民族政治发展"和"作为主体发展的民族政治发展"的不同视角,民族政治发展则表现出了复合型的双重实质。

The main contents of ethnic political development consist of three aspects as follows ： In terms of definition, it develops from the lower to the higher level, which finds expression in the perfection of its political system, the change of its political life from the tra- ditional to the modem with the final goal of providing a lasting and real political support to its national community as the subject of polit- ical development. In terms of content, it covers the two aspects of ＂the ethnic political development as a process＂ and ＂the ethnic po- litical development as a goal＂. In terms of nature, it has the features of ＂the ethnic political development as a carrier＂ and ＂the ethnic political development as a subject＂.
