Energy-safety Cooperation between China and ASEAN and its Protection by International Law

中国-东盟能源安全合作已从现实和制度层面展开,但面临能源产品出口限制、能源运输通道安全威胁、南海问题国际化等问题的挑战。国际法对保障中国-东盟能源安全合作具有重要作用,联合国条约体系、WTO协议和CAFTA协议发挥着直接影响,ECT和NAFTA有重要借鉴意义。

Although at the practical and institutional levels the energy - safety cooperation between China and ASEAN has gone into effect, it still faces such problems as the export restriction, the threat to the safety of the transport passageways and the international dispute over the South Sea of China. The international law plays an important role in guaranteeing the energy - safety cooperation be- tween China and ASEAN while the UN treaties, WTO and CAFTA agreements as well as ECT and NAFTA also play a part.
