The national vocational skills competition has led and promoted the specialty teaching reform of vocational colleges since it was held. Taking numerical control competition as an example, reform and innovation of national vocational skills competition in numerical control are found through the deep analysis of the competition question setting. This reflects the objectives and orientation of talent cultivation in numerical control specialty of vocational colleges and promotes the improvement in professional level and teaching ability of teachers.
