摘要
基于全国12城市2537名在职青年的抽样调查资料,论文描述了目前城市在职青年实现就业的主要途径及其分布,并对相关因素进行了分析。研究结果表明,青年自己应聘就业的占一半左右,学校分配的约占20%,通过各种社会关系获得就业的约占25%。青年的城乡背景、青年参加工作时间、特别是青年的文化程度等因素对其实现就业的途径有明显的影响。
Based on a survey conducted among 2,537 young men who have already found employment in 12 cities across the country, the paper first describes the major approaches to employment of the young people living and working in cities and the distribution of their employment patterns and then analyzes the major factors influencing their gaining employment. The result shows that about 50 percent of them seek employment through job market independently, 20 percent are offered the job through the institutes where they have received education, and about 25 percent get help from other social channels. Such factors as their birth origin (i. e. they are from urban or rural origins), work experience and education backgTound play a significant role in their obtaining employment.
