基于图像处理的单词识别

摘要 介绍了单词识别的基本步骤和原理,主要分为预处理、边缘提取、字符定位、字符分割、字符识别这五大模块,其中以字符识别为重点,使用了VS2010+OpenCV编程实现对图像进行一系列的处理,然后用模板匹配算法进行识别.方法简单且容易实现,可以较为准确的识别出单词. This paper mainly introduced the process of word recognition; the procedureincludes preprocess, edge extraction, character position, character segmentation, and character recognition. Among them, the character recognition is most essential. The method achieving that is realized by OpenCV in VS2010 programming environment. Then it uses model matching to make the processed images to be recognized. This method is simple to implement, and the results turn out that it can recognize the words accurately.
