COMMENTARY ON THE STARTING TIME OF CHU JINAN CITY

纪南城是楚国都城的典型代表,对于纪南城起始时间,学术界有三种典型的观点:春秋早期说,春秋晚期至战国早期说及战国中期至晚期说。结合纪南城考古发掘、墓葬年代及人口数量,对楚纪南城定都年代进行探讨。

Jinan city is a typical representative of Chu capital. Debate rages over the starting time of Chu Jinan city in the academic community. There are three typical views：Early Spring-and-Autumn Period;late Spring- and-Autumn Period to Early Warring-States Period;middle to late Warring-States Period . The paper discusses the time when the capital of Jinan city was established in combination with archaeological excavation, grave age and and population.
