Analysis on the Sales Volume of Excavating Machinery Market in China in the First Half of 2012

According to the industrial data statistics of Excavator Machinery Branch of China Construction Machinery Association, in the first half of 2012, 28 listed main engines-producing enterprises sold 78,160 units of different excavating machines, decreasing by 37.9% compared with the same period of last year. Among which, it totally sold 43,851 units of different excavating machines in the first quarter, decreasing by 41.2% compared with the same period of last year; it sold 34,309 units in the second quarter, decreasing by 33.0%, 21.8% less than that in the first quarter. In the second quarter, it totally sold 15,277 units in April, 43.3% less than that at the same time of the last year and being decreased by 34.1% on a month-on-month basis; it sold 10,745 units in May, 24.1% less than that in the last year and being decreased by 29.7% on a month-on-month basis ; it sold 8, 287 units in June, 18.2% less than that in the last year and being decreased by 22.9% on a month-on-month basis.
