摘要
作为在20世纪后半期不断涌现的修辞批评模式,隐喻修辞批评已成为非常流行的批评模式之一,该模式从西方修辞学的角度去分析和评价隐喻性语篇。不同于汉语修辞学,西方修辞学(以下简称修辞学)以"说服"或"认同"为其特点。隐喻修辞批评的理论基础涵盖了隐喻的修辞本质、人性论和修辞观,并结合具体实例论述了其运作过程。在教学实践中,隐喻修辞批评模式的引入既给学生提供了一个解读文本的新的角度,也有助于培养学生使用隐喻实现成功交际的意识。
As one of the booming rhetorical models in the late 20th century, metaphor criticism has become more and more popular. It analyzes and appraises metaphorical texts from the perspective of Western rhetoric with the characteristics of "persuasion" or "identification", which is distinct from Chinese rhetoric. This paper firstly discussed the theoretical basis of metaphor criticism, which involves the rhetorical nature of metaphors, the nature of human beings and the rhetoric view. Then the analysis and appraisal process of metaphor criticism has been explored by empirical studies. The paper maintains the introduction of metaphor criticism into the classrooms may not only provide the students with a new perspective of the text appreciation, but also help cul- tivate the sense of effective communication through the use of metaphors.
