Academic journals are communion mediums of science and technology achievement, and have strong time efficiency. Networking is the inevitable tendency of academic journal development and brings far-reaching effect on it, which shortened its treating and publishing flow, enhanced its competition, and accelerated its internationalization course. This paper introduced the meanings of networking, analyzed its effect on journal development and discussed the existing problem, with the purpose to provide basis for promoting a healthy development of periodical networking.
