A Historical Evaluation on China's Women's Colleges

我国女子高校从20世纪初期诞生,到今天已经走过了百年奋进的历程。作为一种以女性教育为中心的高等教育机构,女子高校在办学育人和社会服务等各个方面都取得了比较显著的成绩,在女性高等教育方面走出了一条特色之路,对推动我国近现代妇女解放事业和高等教育事业发展起到了不可替代的作用,这主要表现在三个方面:助推了中国妇女解放运动;培养了一批优秀女性人才;传承了女校教育传统。

Abstract： Women＇ s colleges in China have existed for 100 years since establishment early in 20th century. As high - educated institutions whose center is women, women＇ s colleges made great achievements in the aspects of school education and social services and developed a characteristic way. Its irreplaceable effect on promoting our modemwomen＇s liberation and high- educated development mostly represented in three aspects： boosting Chinese women＇ s liberation, fostering many excellent female talents, inheriting the traditions of women＇ s education.
