Learning from the fine tradition to consolidate the foundation of incorruptible culture

中国传统廉政文化历史悠久、内容丰富。其主要有:莅官之要,曰廉曰勤;公则生明,廉则生威;廉耻事大,死生事小;修身自律,清廉洁白;赏廉罚贪,不可偏废等。这些精粹思想,对于夯实当代廉政文化基础具有重要意义:廉政爱民的为政之德是构建当代廉政文化的政治根基;崇廉知耻的道德操守是构建当代廉政文化的思想根基;修身律己的守廉之道是构建当代廉政文化的心理根基;尚廉肃贪的廉政制度是构建当代廉政文化的制度根基。

Traditional Chinese incorruptible culture has a long history and rich content, in which the first official rule is to be honest and hard-working; the second is that justice produces honesty and probity produces dignity; the third means that shame is a major event while life and death are small ones the fourth is about self-cultivation, self-discipline and incorruption the fifth is to reward the probity and to punish the greed. The essence of the thinking is important to reinforce the foundation of contemporary incorruptible culture. The construcon of an honest and clean government culture contains ＂four foundations＂ such as. being honest in politics and cherishing people are the political foundation being honest and having a shame consciousness as moral integrity are the idealistic foundation keeping probity road of self-cultivation and self-discipline is the psychological foundation keeping an integrity system of advocating probity and anti-corruption is the institutional foundation.
