With the development of politics, economy, culture and social life in China, many new Chinese words come into our life and are often used widely. So it is key task to translate the new words into English in order to communicate in the world. The author mainly talked about the sources and types of new words, analyzed present situation of Chinese to English translation for the new words and put forward several methods for translating the new words into English.
