On Shift of Perspective in Tourism Translation

视点转换是重组原语信息表层形式,转换表达角度的过程,通过视点转换可以使原文信息更充分地被传达,使译文更易被目标读者所接受。旅游翻译关注于接受者对文本的理解和内化,因此,翻译时需要借助一定的变通手段对译文进行必要的调整和转换。在翻译过程中,视点转换作为一种常用的变通手段,对旅游翻译更具现实意义。

Shift of perspective is the process of restructuring the surface structure of source language in- formation and reversing the expressive angle. Through shift of perspective, the information of source text can be conveyed more perfectly and the translated text can be accepted by target readers more easily. Tourism transla- tion focuses on the understanding and internalization of receivers; so in translation, it is necessary to adopt the means of adaptation to make some adjustments and shifts. As one common method in translation, shift of perspec- tive thus has practical significance to tourism translation.
