Bilingualism Used in Tribal Contacts during Periods of Sanguo-Jin- Nanbei Dynasties in Northeast China

民族之间的接触必须使用语言。双语现象是人类社会活动族际交往所产生的必然。三国—晋—南北朝时期东北民族语言的变化过程典型地展示了双语现象的基本规律,模式等重要问题。它不仅涉及每一种互相接触或碰撞的语言发展的历史背景、生存状况、区域分布等自然状况和每一种语言使用者的心理,文化和习俗等人文情况,还涉及到相互接触的语言的发展水平,语言的结构单位相同与区别等语言状况。

Contacts between nations＇ are carried out mostly with the aid of language. Bilingualism is a necessary process brought out during the national contacts in human social activities. The historical linguistic de- veloping process in Northeast China illustrated certain important issues, such as the basic bilingual principles, modes, etc.. It deals not only with the historical background, existing situations, district distribution of language development, and the language users＇ humanistic conditions of psyches, culture, customs, etc.; but also with the linguistic situations of the developing levels of each language in contact with others and its linguistic condition of similarities and differences of language structural units.
