Structural Effect of Transnational Corporations Investment and Strategic Choice in China

跨国公司投资既可推动东道国加快产业结构优化升级,提升本国产业国际竞争力,也可在一定程度上控制东道国关键产业的发展,影响其国家经济安全。我国产业结构经历不同阶段调整与升级,但仍存在技术含量低、区域产业趋同化等问题。改革以来,跨国公司注重投资于第二产业,既在一定程度上提升了我国工业的竞争力,也造成了我国三大产业结构的偏差,从而制约了经济持续发展。因此,我们应通过不断优化投资环境、完善产业导向政策、提升企业技术创新能力等,引导跨国公司投向符合我国产业发展方向领域,矫正失衡的产业结构,提升我国产业国际竞争力,推动经济持续健康发展。

Transnational corporations investment can promote the host country to accelerate the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure and improve international competitiveness of domestic industries. It can al-so control the key industries of the host country and affect its national economic security. Since the reforms, trans- national investments focus on the secondary industries, which forms deviation of China＇ s three industrial structure and constrains the sustainable economic development. Therefore, we should constantly optimize the investment en- vironment, perfect the industry-oriented policies, improve enterprise＇ s technology innovation capability, boot TNCs investment with the orientation of China＇ s industrial development area, correct the imbalances of industrial struc-ture and promote perfect sustainable and healthy economic development.
