Some challenges exist at present in the employment administration of Zhangjiagang＇s native college graduates, such as： the gap between supply and demand, lack of required competence and quality among graduates, traditional employment ideology, etc. A few practical approaches are suggested on a tentative basis： supportive policies and pragmatic employment administration system by the local government, scientific goal assessment and incentive mechanism, comprehensive information networks, well-coordinated service platforms shared by colleges, government agencies and businesses, better employment guidance, etc, which have brought about obvious achievements in the work.
