The Livelihoods and Democracy from the Perspective of Scientific Outlook on Development

科学发展观要求我们必须把关注民生放到重要地位,这是科学发展观以人为本的本质决定的。改善民生离不开民主,民主和民生是以人为本的两个侧面,是中国特色社会主义道路的两个轮子,要以民主促进民生。

Scientific Outlook on Development demands that we must put livelihoods at important position which is decided by the essence of people-oriented. Improving livelihoods can＇t do without democracy. The two sides of people-oriented are livelihoods and democracy, and they are also the two wheels of the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics. We should promote livelihoods with democracy.
