A practical strategy of the temperature measu-ring instrument based on transmissive quartz optical fibre and its application on site are in-troduced . The pre-amplifier circuit, data proce-ssing of colorimetric operations and the proble-ms together with their solving measures on implementing contacting measurement in the instrument are discussed. The main technical data of the optical fibre based temperature me-asuring instrument are given finally.
