摘要 "学业不良"是当前一个重要的教育研究领域,但存在着较严重的概念混乱问题,其根本原因是"学业不良"同时对应了四个不同的西方教育学及教育心理学概念,即learning disabilities,learning difficulties,undera-chievement和low achievement。这从根本上影响了该领域研究的发展及研究结果对教育实践的指导。应该把相对意义的学业不良即underachievement用新的话语"成绩缺憾"来表示,以区分绝对意义的学业不良。"成绩缺憾"这一学术话语的提出具有重要的理论和实践意义,一方面它有利于更好地研究相对意义的学业不良,另一方面也有助于该问题在教育政策制定和教育实践中得到应有的重视。 An important area of educational study," learning deficiency" faces a rather serious confusion of concepts. The key reason for this confusion lies in the fact that the Chinese concept of "learning deficiency" has four different educational and educational-psychological concepts in western counterpart: learning disabilities, learning difficulties, underachievement and low achievement. This primarily affects development of study in the are- a and guidance of its results to educational practice. To get rid of the confusion, the new relative term "undera- chievement" should be introduced to discriminate the absolute term "learning deficiency". The introduction of the academic term "underachievement" is of significant theoretical and practical meaning, for it helps to better study learning deficiency in a relative sense on the one hand and on the other to attract due attention in making education- al policy and educational practice.
