The Theme and Mission of the Current Marxist Studies

对于当今中国的马克思主义研究来说,有必要强调马克思主义本身的学术向度,并表明这一学术向度是与其作为历史性实践的思想武器本质一致的。正是通过其哲学革命和意识形态批判,马克思主义表明其学术研究的基本使命是:揭示并切中社会的现实。这一点构成马克思主义学术研究的决定性基础和根本任务,从而把所谓学术的"纯粹自律性"揭示为现代性意识形态的幻觉。由此引申出当代中国马克思主义研究的时代课题将主要包括:1.对文本、经典、思想史的研究;2.对整个当代世界及其理论表现的批判性研究;3.从社会现实的方面对当今中国之历史性实践的研究。

For the current Marxist studies,it is necessary to highlight the academic dimension of Marxism above all and demonstrate that this dimension essentially is in the same line with its function as ideological weapon of the historical practice.Through the philosophical revolution and the ideology critique,Marxism manifests its basic task that is to disclose and touch the reality of the society.This is the decisive basis and essential task of academic Marxist studies as well,disclosing the so-called pure self-disciplining of the academy as a modern ideological illusion.Therefore,the theme of the current Marxist studies in China consists of the following elements： First,the research on texts,classic works and the history of ideas;Second,the critical research on the contemporary world and its theoretical presentation;Third,the research on the historical practice of China nowadays.
