In recent years,the traffic demand increases quickly and the contradiction between the supply and demand of road traffic intensifies day by day with the rapid development of economy and society in Dongguan.According to the investigation of the road traffic status of Dongguan,the article analyzes the main factors to cause the road congestion,discusses and puts forward the method and proposal to improve the congestion status,and introduces the positively effective measures taken for improving the road congestion of Dongguan,and the role of road traffic planning to improve the traffic congestion in Dongguan.
