On the Analytic Method and Its Thought Limits of Analytic Marxism

分析马克思主义者在诠释马克思历史唯物主义的时候往往是以分析方法为出发点的,因而展开了对辩证方法的批判。尽管分析的马克思主义所主张的"分析的"方法,在实现表述的精确和论证严密方面确实具有深远的价值。但是,从整体上来看,分析的马克思主义者过于强调了思想的细节、表达的清晰、体系的完整,过分注重了微观结构和微观机制,因而忽视了思想背后的辩证的、整体的维度。事实上,马克思在从事思想研究的时候,始终重视运用主要是从黑格尔那里借用过来的辩证法。马克思所运用的辩证法不仅是理解他的理论论述的基本途径,也是完善这种理论论述以便我们思考社会的途径。

Analytic Marxists critic dialectic method, while starting from analytic method in the course ofannotating Marx＇s historical materialism. Although analytic Marxists＇ analytic method has far- reaching values in actualizing exact expression and rigorous demonstration, entirely, analytic Marxists excessively emphasize thought details, expression clarity, and system integrity;and excessively pay attention to microcosmic structure and mechanism. Therefore, they neglect the dialectic and unitary dimension. Actually, in the course of thought researching, Marx emphasizes Hegel＇ s dialectic all along. Dialectic is not only the fundamental approach in understanding Marx＇ theory, but also important approach in perfecting this theory in order to think about society.
