从国际比较看我国高校“985”工程建设实施效果——以南开大学和多伦多大学为例

Implementation Effects of China's '985 Project':A comparative Study between Nankai University and Toronto University

"985工程"建设的目的就是要建设世界一流大学,"985"工程建设已经有10年有余,其实施的效果如何?我们和世界一流大学相比,其差距是在加大,还是在缩小?在充分掌握数据资料和相关文件的基础上,以南开大学和多伦多大学为例,从定性对比和定量比较两个纬度来考察上述问题,得出结论,并提出相应的建议。

＇985 Project＇ aims to build the world -class universities in China. The project has been carrying out for ten years. Based on abundant date, using qualitative and quantitative research method, this paper compares Nankai University with Toronto University to explore what the project has achieved and the gap between China and the first -class university in the world and concludes some constructive suggestions.
