确切地说出自己所在位置是人们日常生活中经常遇到的事情。有很多可供选择的表示方位的词语或地理术语,这些词可能都合适,但在特定的情境下,要从这些词语中选择最合适的词语来表达自己所处的方位,要做出最合适的选择,就必须得知道"我们现在在哪儿?""谁想知道我们在哪儿?""对方又在哪儿?"。文章在借鉴了前人研究的基础上,结合对日常生活的观察和体验,对如何确定方位进行了初步探讨。

To formulate places is a common encounter in our daily life. There are many selections of location words or geographic terms, and they are all appropriate in locating places, but on particular occasions, we have to select the most proper words to formulate the places where we are. In selecting a ＇right＇ formulation, attention is exhibited to ＇ where - we - know - we - arc ＇ , to ＇ who - we - know - we - are ＇ , to ＇ what - they - know - they - arc ＇. On the basis of the previous research, and combined with the personal observations and experiences, this paper explores the ways to formulate places, it is of practical guiding significance.
