论巴金在“激流”般热情支配下写作的得失

On Ba Jin's Writing which Predominate over Torrential Enthusiasm

夏志清先生的《中国现代小说史》中对巴金的论述使用了独立的章节,他注意到巴金的那一股"激流"般的热情,以及这股热情产生的原因、给巴金的小说带来的负面影响。对于巴金作品中理性因素,夏先生则关注不够,导致一些评价的绝对化。

History of Modern Chinese Novel, written by Mr. Xia Zhiqing, made an exposition of Ba Jin using separate chapters. He noticed the rapids-like enthusiasm in Ba Jin and the reason why this enthusiasm generated, as well as the negative impact it brought to Ba Jin＇s novel. As for the rational factors in the works of Ba Jin, Mr. Xia gave insufficient attention to them,leading to absolutization in some of his evaluation.
