电大成人英语文化教学现状调查与分析

Investigation and Analysis of the Status Quo of Adult English Culture Teaching in Open Universities

在深入分析语言学习与文化教学关系的基础上,从电大英语师资力量、英语教师跨文化意识和英语教材与课程开设情况三个方面来调查电大英语文化教学的现状。调查发现,电大英语教师高学历者比例不高,跨文化意识不是很强,但是电大课程设置和教材编写却很好地贯彻英语文化教学的思路,针对这一现状,从四个方面提出了相应的对策与建议。

On the analysis of the relationship between language study and culture teaching, it intends to investigate the current situation of English culture teaching in TV universities from such three aspects as English teachers team in this paper, the cross-cultural awareness of English teachers and the status quo of English textbooks and courses in TV universities. The investigation reveals that the ratio of postgraduate English teachers is low and their cross-cultural awareness is weak, nevertheless, the course arrangement and textbooks compilation in TV universities reflect the thought of English culture teaching. In view of this situation, four corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.
