Causes and Status of Russian Far East’s Marine Occupational Education before Russian Revolution

19世纪下半叶至十月革命前,为了加强俄国在远东、太平洋地区的政治、经济以及军事力量,巩固对该地区的实际占领,强化俄国在远东近海和太平洋海域的军事力量,俄国在远东一些重要城市和港口开办了航海学校、技校和各种海事培训班,积极开展海洋职业教育,为俄国培养和培训了大批具备专业航海技能的人员,在提高俄国远东地区海军作战能力和民用商船航海员的正规化、职业化等方面做出了重要的贡献。

From the last half of the 19th century to the October Revolution, for strengthening political, economic and military forces in the Russian Far East and the Pacific region and consolidating its real occupation of the areas, Russia ran nautical schools, technical schools and marine training classes, trained a legion of marine professionals and made important contributions to the Far East＇s naval forces and civil merchant ship＇s operation.
