Modifications of #1,2 reheating furnaces in the No.2 rolling mill at SISG

针对韶钢二轧厂加热炉坯料最大厚度加大,改烧煤气后炉墙冒火现象严重,安全隐患严重等问题,进行加热炉改造,并对自动控制系统进行了升级,从而消除了炉墙冒火现象,提高了自动控制水平,取得良好的经济效益.

In view of the increased maximum thickness of billets for reheating in the No. 2 rolling mill at SISG, and the splashing and flaming potentials of the reheating furnace due to gas-burning, that may bring about safety risks, the #1, #2 reheating furnaces in the mill were modified, with its automatic control system upgraded, thus eliminating the splashing and flaming risk of the furnaces, improving the level of automatic control, and gained good economic benefits.
