摘要
语篇是一个具有完整语义的自然语言单位。语篇翻译的过程实质上是语篇连贯的识别与重构过程,原文语篇中的连贯性能否再现,译文的交际功能能否得以实现,在很大程度上取决于译者所要采取的翻译策略。文章根据英汉两种语言的特点,结合科技语篇翻译实例,探讨了在英汉科技语篇翻译中,为了达到译文语篇的连贯性,译者通常采用的一些翻译策略。
Text is a complete, natural semantic unit. The process of translation is actually to recognize and reconstruct the textual coherence, and to a large extent, the reestablishment of textual coherence and the success of communicative function of translation directly involve the corresponding translation strategy. Combined with examples, this paper discusses some appropriate translation strategies so as to reestablish textual coherence in sci-tech text translation.
