摘要
对神话、民间故事和历史进行改写是托尼·莫里森重要的写作策略。她的代表作《宠儿》就是其创作策略得到充分体现的一部作品。通过对比《宠儿》与创作蓝本玛格丽特·加纳故事在细节和情节设置等方面的差异,探讨莫里森改写的动因,并剖析其所蕴含的伦理意义。
Rewriting myths, folk tales or history is one of the important writing techniques employed by Nobel Prize winner Toni Morrison, which is fully embodied in her masterpiece Beloved. Therefore, this paper intends to analyze Morrison ' s motivations and the ethical meanings of rewriting based on the comparative study of Beloved and Margaret Garner ' s story in details and parts of plot.
