新农村建设是国家的重大战略性举措,也面临巨大的挑战。分析了西部地区新农村建设对高校图书馆的需求,对高校图书馆服务新农村建设中存在的困难进行探讨,并提出高校图书馆增强服务地方的意识、通过网络提供数字图书资源、面向无线移动的解决思路。

The new rural construction is a significant national strategic action and faces major challenges. The author analyses the demand of the new rural construction in the western region for university hbraries and the difficulties existed in university libraries serving the new rural construction. Some solutions to enhancing the service consciousness of university libraries for the local development and offering digital book resources and wireless mobile via network are also proposed.
