摘要
三段论规则中的周延律一般是指中项在前提中至少周延一次,前提中不周延的项在结论中不得周延。本文把直言命题中作为主项和谓项出现的词项处理成零元模态词,提出一个零元模态逻辑系统来精确定义周延这一概念,并论证这两条规则可以从该系统的内插定理直接导出,由此确立周延律的正确性。
Generally speaking, the laws of distribution that a valid syllogism must obey are： （1） The middle term must be distributed in at least one premise. （2） If a term is distributed in the conclusion, then it must be distributed in the premise in which it occurs. This paper regards the terms that occur as the subject term and predicate term in categorical statements as nullary modalities, and presents a nullary modal logical system based on which the notion of distribution is defined. The correctness of the laws of distribution is established by the interpolation theorem of this logical system.
