Religious belief restrains such economic attitude and behavior as fighting for, burying and hiding property. By doing so it realizes its property surpassing idea. Religious belief can also be transferred into economic and social capital. The article discusses the economic value of religious belief from the above-mentioned two aspects, and stresses that religious belief should play a role in the regulation, complementation and coordination of market economy so as to promote the orderly healthy development of market economy.
