在新的形势下,水土保持工作要以保护改善生态环境为中心,以治理水土流失为重点,以建设秀美山川为目标,突出预防保护,坚持以小流域为单元的综合治理,依靠科技,深化改革,不断创新治理机制,加快水土流失防治步伐,持之以恒地推进水土保持生态环境建设。

Under new situation, water and soil conservation in China should stands out prevention and protection with protecting and improving ecological environment as a core, controlling water and soil loss as key point, constructing green mountains and clean rivers as an objective, and stick to the comprehensive controlling with a small watershed as a unit, depending on sciences and technologies, deepening reform and continuously creating harnessing mechanism and quickening steps of water and soil conservation and persevering in promotion of water and soil conservation ecological environment construction.
