The rhetorical style of asking the question is often used in lyrics. According to different following forms, question and answer sentences can be divided into four types： single-question-single-answer,single-question even-answer, even-question single-answer, and even-question-even-answer. It is importantto understand the universal application and extensive manifestation of “asked the question” in writinglyrics, and the author also illustrates the function of language arts in writing lyrics through using thisrhetoric.
