中国古地图研究综析

Analysis and study on Chinese ancient maps

本文从古代地图的收集整理方面论述了古地图的研究成果:探讨了古代地图起源及古代地图制图理论的萌芽期;从绘图方法、地图质基、地图图例符号的使用、地图方向和维度等4个方面探讨了古代地图制图技术的发展;并指出虽然我国古地图的研究已取得了很大成绩,但主要还是集中在对已有的文本记载和现存地图的研究,对史前地图即岩画的研究还很少,这是以后要加强的部分。

The studying achievements were discussed in terms of collecting, collating and studying Chinese ancient maps in the paper. The origin of Chinese ancient maps and the seeds of ancient mapping theory were approached from different angles. The devel- op：neat of mapping techniques in the past was analyzed from mapping methods, the media of maps, the symbol system employed in maps, and the orientation and dimensionality of maps. At last the conclusion was that the great achievements were got in recent years but most of them were concentrated on extant text and maps. There should be a few researches on petroglyph of prehistory in the future.
