Problems in Cooperative Learning of Intensive Reading Course for English Majors and the Solutions

将合作学习的理论运用于英语专业精读课的教学中,可以转变传统的英语课堂教学模式,即从以教师为中心的模式转变为以学生为中心的模式,从而培养学生积极的学习态度和自学能力。然而,在合作学习的实践中也存在着一些问题,降低了其教学效果。本文对这些问题进行了具体分析,并提出了相应的对策。

Through applying cooperative learning into the intensive reading class for English majors,the traditional teaching mode could be changed.In other words,the teacher-centered mode will be changed into the student-centered mode,and thus a positive attitude and self-study ability can be formed by students.However,problems exist in the practice of cooperative learning which have reduced the effectiveness of this method.This paper analyzes these questions and proposes some corresponding solutions.
