Before the May Fourth Movement Various intellectual forces were grouped behind a united front in the New Culture Movement.But the intellectual ranks split up soon after the May Fourth Movement.This thesis farther analyses the reasons for their break-up.The primary reason for their separation and going their diffenert ways after the May Fourth Movement is the divergence of opinons on how to understand the strategy for saving our country.
