汉字史断代研究的回顾与探索

Review and Exploration about the Study of the History of Chinese Characters by Period

为了告诫人们不可据今文之形以求古人之意，许慎以字形的变化为根据，把汉字史分为古文和今文两个阶段。现代文字学为了揭示汉字发展规律，也以字形变化断代汉字历史。近来有人以造字系统的历时运动为断代根据，汉字文断代才有了实质性进步。为了在此基础上进一步发展，本文以三方面的变化情况作为根据，提出一种新的断代理论。

In order to caution posterity against relying on the forms of modern Script to understand the ancients' meaning, and on the basis of the variation of characters' forms, Xushen divided the history of Chinese characters into ho stages of ancient Chinese prose and script. Under the influence of Xushen, modern philology divided the history of Chinese characters into periods relying on the variation of characters, forms so as to reveal the developmental law of Chinese characters. The history of Chinese characters by pened didn' t make substantial progress in.until recently someone took the last time rout of characters' creative system as the basis of division of history into periods. To make more progress, this paper proposes a new theory of division of history into periods.
