摘要
宋代是我国虎患频发的历史时期。随着对虎及虎患认识的深入,统治者开始把捕杀作为应对虎患的主要策略,官方鼓励民间自发的捕虎行为,但严禁滥捕乱杀。宋政府还倡导用祭天祈神、道德感化、佛法降服等辅助手段来应对虎患。通过以上途径,宋政府不仅比较有效地解决了虎患问题,还使民众获得了战胜虎患的精神力量,体现了宋人应对自然灾害方面的能力。
The tiger-trouble happened frequently in Song Dynasty. Being face the serious disaster, people began to hunt tiger instead of praying for God. At the same time, they also pay attention to protect ing with hunting which refected the progress of society and strengthen of ecological awareness. But praying for God was still popular in Song Dynasty because of ＂Interaction of heaven and man＂ theory＇s existence. The Song government also promoted ＂Moral driveing tiger＂ and ＂buddhistic doctrine driveing tiger＂ by the folk beliefs about ＂tiger distinguishing good from evil＂. Through the above measures, the Song government managed to control the tiger-trouble and carry out Confucian ethics.
