Jiangsu Province is a well developed province,small in size b ut densely populated. With such a situation in consideration, it has developed v arious effective approaches to cultivation and exploitation of ecological touris m. The practice and experience of Jiangsu Province attach great importance to th e synchronistic development of the ecological environmental protection, economic development, urban and rural reconstruction and environmental construction. To ach ieve this, we must keep balance among economic rewards, social effects and envir onmental benefits, which will certainly provide good conditions for the environm ental tourism.
