在词的理据问题上英汉有很多共同点 ,即在构词的时候都主要采用拟声理据、语义理据和逻辑理据 ,当然两种语言对各种理据的使用情况有所不同。除此之外 ,汉语词还有一个颇具特色的理据———摹状。

In the motivation of words, Chinese and English have much in common. The formation of words both in Chinese and English is based on onomatopoeic motivation, semantic motivation, and logical motivation.
