China's Entry into the WTO and Its State-owned Enterprises' Competitive Power

中国“入世” ,将给国有企业带来严峻挑战。国有企业为应付“入世”的挑战 ,关键是增强自己的竞争力 ,而现实状况却是 ,国有企业总体素质不高 ,竞争力不强 ,与发达国家的企业特别是大型跨国公司存在较大差距。因此 ,必须以“入市”为契机 ,努力增强国有企业的竞争力。

China's Entry into the WTO means a great challenge to all its state-owned enterprises.And the key to meet the challenge successfully lies in their competitive power.However,as a matter of fact,these enterprises are poor in it and their overall quality.They are far behind those of developed countries,especially transnational corporations.Thus,efforts must be made to enhance the competitive power,with China's entry into the WTO as a turning point.
